BNP and Shibir forces raped and murdered a Hindu woman in front of her family in Brahmanbaria Sadar Upazila.

In Dighinala, Khagrachari district, Hill people and Bengalis got enganed in severe clashes with gun fights overnight in the main town and consequently, three individuals— Junan Chakma (20), Dhananjay Chakma (50), and Rubel Chakma (30)—were killed, and at least 15 people injured.

In Rangamati, a young hill person was killed in clashes between Hill people and Bengalis. At least 50 people from both sides were injured in the incident. Several business establishments, including the office of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Regional Council, as well as Banrupa, South Kalindipur, Bijan Sarani, North Kalindipur, and the hospital area were set on fire. Over 100 vehicles, including bikes belonging to journalists, were torched. The Rangamati District Women's Affairs Office was attacked, and the office’s vehicles were vandalized.

Mrinal Kanti Chatterjee, a retired schoolteacher, was brutally beaten and hacked to death by miscreants. The miscreants attacked his family also.
